    We were greeted with a smile , shown to our lovely table and served amazing, constantly asked if we needed anything all along with amazing food and drinks. Absolutely brilliant job to the two young ladies that looked after us throughout our visit.

    Excellent service friendly staff. Food was exceptional especially the fish and chips it was so fresh and the batter was lovely and light along with a variety of sauces and homemade chunk chips. The seating area was Warm and cosy next to the log fire. We got to speak to the owner who is also the chef. Such a delight cannot thank you enough we will be back!

    Very good festive carvery with nice addition of venison with the roasts. Would have been nice to have the offer of a 2 course price for those not wanting 3 courses for £20. Frequent visitors, always find staff friendly and helpful.
