- AAnnabelLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoExcellent, delicious and beautifully presented dishes. Our server Imogen was very professional and efficient and a credit to the restaurant. The Lobster Thermidor was one of the best I’ve ever eaten. The only negative was the poor service in the hotel bar beforehand. We had to wait quite a while but no one came to take our order even though there were staff behind the bar. In addition, the loud crashing of glass bottles being thrown into the bin behind the bar really spoilt the ambiance, not a great start to the evening sadlyMore infoThe Rise RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• York•4.6
- VVictoriaLondon •2 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024This is our 2nd visit to Chef Jono’s and we were not disappointed. The value for money for the 5 course tasting menu is brilliant. We were so full we had to take the cheeseboard home! Highlights for me were the Not French Onion Soup and the Figgy Pudding, get that marketed and available to buy for Christmas, bloody gorgeous! The place itself is so cosy with enough space to enjoy your meal without noise from other tables and the waiting staff are so enthusiastic and knowledgeable in their work, really impressed! Now hunting for some Pedro Ximinez to go with my Christmas dinner. We also ended up buying a voucher for a friends Christmas present on the evening we were so happy with the experience. Well done Jono! Keep doing what you do best!More infoChef Jono V&VPrice: Very Expensive• British• Leeds•4.7
