Excellent customer service from all the staff, we were seated infront of the open kitchen with was exceptional to see how the chefs all work. All the food looked incredible! We have the beef wellington which was beautiful (the beef fillet is cooked rare) and comes with chunky fries. Would definitely recommend and return to try other dishes on the menu. Pricey, but worth it for an exceptional meal!

A "Gastronomic Epiphany " . From the warm welcome on arrival, the friendly and attentive staff to the cosy and historic surroundings, it was the perfect setting to what was probably going to be one of my most memorable dining experiences. We both ordered the fabled "steak n ale" pie with a side of cauliflower cheese. We deliberately abstained from a starter so that we would be able to fully appreciate the main. We were not disappointed ! The pie, gravy, garlic mash and side were sublime. We will be back.
