- DDaniVIPMiami - Dade •111 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMiami has had a challenge when it comes to elevated/high quality Chinese food. Well, no more! Whether for a business/fun lunch or a date/family dinner, Hutong is a wonderful fit. We have been there for lunch and dinner and simply cannot get enough. The food manages to be light and incredibly tasty - no oils or low quality meats as one see in other restaurants that ‘push’ Chinese cuisine. This place is amazing! Not to be missed are the wagyu beef Mille-feuille steak (OMG!), the hot&sour soup, the shrimp rolls, dim sums (perfectly steamed and filled with aromatic spices), the rices are wonderful (splurge for the lobster!). As main courses go for the Kung Po Shrimp and the Pan-Seared Prime Beef Tenderloin. Drinks were equally wonderful and interesting, including the nonalcoholic ones. We sat outside this time and it was great, felt a bit like NYC without the dirty street and beggars. Brickell looks beautiful! The DJ inside was spinning great tunes that still allowed us to talk - are restaurants in Miami finally getting the hint that music does not have to be blasting for one to enjoy a meal? The music selection was quite amazing! This DJ really rocks! No rap music, great! We noticed a great variety of dinners, young and old, couples, friends, family - this is the kind of environment that creates comfort and welcomes EVERYONE! Finally, the pristine service… Adriano was superior and displayed upmost professionalism, showcased the menu as it deserves to be and got us to order everything that we love and a few items that are now our new favorites. I say ‘bravo’ Adriano! His support team at the table was also awesome, we never had to ask for anything, they anticipate our needs. Congratulations to management, this is obviously a well run ship! Cannot wait to return!More infoHutong MiamiPrice: Expensive• Chinese• Brickell•4.4
