Best Cocktail Bars in Monmouth Beach

I went with a friend of mine to celebrate our birthdays. We arrived on time for our reservation and were seated immediately. When we got to our table, we were greeted by our friendly and welcoming waiter, Marc, who went over the menu with us and answered any questions we had. For the appetizer we chose the crabcakes, which were very good. I ordered the pork chops and my friend ordered the halibut. Both were delicious. The drinks were outstanding as well. Get the pistachio martini and the espresso flight!

Overall had a terrific experience and would absolutely come back. The food was delicious and the vibe was immaculate. It was also decorated so well and I loved the outdoor fire pits. My only critique is that the service felt very rushed. We were here on a Friday night so it was crowded. We had a 5:45 reservation and we didn’t get seated until 6:05 because our table hadn’t left yet. It wasn’t a big deal and we sat by the fire pit while waiting. However, while we were enjoying our appetizers and drinks, we were asked multiple times if they could clear the table. We said we were still working. They then brought our pasta out while we were still working on the apps. Didn’t love that. After dinner though, we did hang out and they didn’t rush us out which I appreciated. Would definitely go back to try more food and enjoy the ambiance!

It was a cold January Wednesday night, only a few people at the restaurant, but we were welcomed by the friendly staff and quickly felt cozy and warm. For apps we had the perfectly seasoned chicken wings and a Caesar salad with crispy quinoa…nice touch. Entrees included the salmon filet with cheese grits topped with parsley & fennel, a seared pork chop with a loaded potato (substituted the mashed), and finally the Mushroom Étouffée, which is a vegan dish with rice and Cajun Seasoning. No dessert, but a round of warm & sweet after-dinner drinks was perfect.

Everything was on point The mocktails for us no drinkers were amazing Can’t miss on the burger and the toffee pudding. The bolognese. Hands down. Best I’ve had. And we’ve tried a lot
