Best Cocktail Bars in ByWard Market

Server was so knowledgeable and helpful. Menu was hefty but the server helped us determine what we would like and it was spot on. My group ended up trying almost every cocktail on the menu and none disappointed.

Our server, Cora, went out of her way to ensure that we had a really enjoyable evening. Even though the walk from the Rideau Centre to Milestones Rideau was a very short one, because it was a very cold night, I was really cold by the time I arrived at the restaurant. I asked for a cup of herbal tea to warm me up. Unfortunately, herbal teat was not on the menu. Cora went out of her way and gave me a cup of hot water with lemon and honey. It was truly appreciated. She checked on us several times during dinner to ensure the meal was fine. We had a wonderful meal and time. Please thank Cora our thanks. Is it possible to add herbal tea or decaf tea to your menu?

Such a great experience. Loved sitting on the bar side. We went for 6:30 and while the restaurant side was busier the bar side wasn’t. Our server was Shane and he was fantastic. The food was amazing. I had the cucumber and yogurt appetizer and my husband had the Caesar salad. This was followed by my special which was a truffle and mushroom pasta. So delicious and beautiful presentation. My husband had the whole roasted branzino which was gorgeous. So crispy. He didn’t opt for a side dish. We then had the cheesecake for dessert, beautiful presentation and so yummy. I had a Negroni when we first arrived and my husband had a gin and tonic. Great cocktails even the ice was amazing. The wine we had with dinner was also wonderful although I don’t recall the name. It was such a great experience and we were very happy waddling back to our hotel after dinner. It was expensive but totally worth it.

Overall the service was great, though it sometimes took a while to get drinks and water. I think putting a bottle of water on the table would be a good idea so you don't have to wait for refills as the water cups are small.
