Great experience! Food, drinks, service, and DJ were great. We will be returning.

First time and celebrated an anniversary. The food was amazing. There was nothing we didn’t enjoy. Drinks were also very good. Service was partially good. There were a few long delays in visits to our table. As we were celebrating an occasion, we put it in our Reservation. As a result, they surprised us by bringing out an “extra” dessert - with a message written on the plate. We were thankful, but then later shocked to see it on our bill when we didn’t expect or ask for the item. We didn’t raise it as an issue but be aware. Also we had hoped to visit Roja after our meal, but it was standing room only. So another tip for awareness - set a reservation for it too. Overall a wonderful experience. Just a few lessons learned.

Top tier can't wait to go back, ribeye was excellent , mushroom tempura was out of this world and the chicken karrage was also incredible. Can't wait to go back and try the blooming onion, it was unfortunately sold out the night I was there. Will be returning very soon !

Zoe is #1. She is the reason I return to Nobu DC. I love seeing her and enjoying the conversation, the passionate stories, accepting her recommendations and just embracing her kindness. I’m very blessed and grateful for her friendship. Also I want to recognize Benjamin-he has a lot to offer the world. I hope that he continues to aspire for greatness beyond what the mind can imagine. Went for Christmas dinner. Foggy Bottom was one of the two locations that had the a’ la carte menu which was why I picked the location. It was a little crowded waiting for our reservation time and they were behind but we expected that and didn’t mind. There were three of us and we all were happy with our meals. We had wings and the corn bread skillet for appetizers. The wings were really good. I’m not a fan of corn in my cornbread but it still tasted good. I had fried shrimp with fries, coleslaw and corn bread. The shrimp and fries were really good. The coleslaw was a little blah. Our other two diners had a platter with ribs, cheeseburger sliders and fried chicken and coleslaw. They both loved theirs but also were not fans of the coleslaw. The staff was friendly and professional and fast. We enjoyed talking to them and the two different sets of patrons sitting beside us. We had a great Christmas dinner despite it not being an “traditional” Christmas dinner and would come back again.
