Food was very good, including the arancini, which we tried for the first time, plus repeats of delicious favorites-- lasagna and chicken marsala. ! We look forward to our next visit!!More infoRosemarino D'Italia - AlexandriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Alexandria•4.6

- MMarshaVIPWashington, D.C. Area •83 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy niece and I had a lovely dinner. I asked for a quiet table as it can be pretty noisy at Josephine. We were seated at the very back, and it made conversation easy. Our waiter was excellent. I have multiple dietary restrictions and he helped me to choose. I had the trout, which was very tasty. My niece had the scallops, which she loved. She had vanilla ice cream for dessert and I had the mixed berry sorbet. Both are housemade and delicious. I've been to Josephine a number of times and appreciate that the menu changes seasonally. A nice touch was the manager stopping by to check on us.More infoJosephine - Old TownPrice: Expensive• French• Alexandria•4.7
- MMarkVIPWashington, D.C. Area •7 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 13, 2024Wonderful small restaurant in Old Town Alexandria with great food and good service, but with a huge caveat. Portions are a little small for the price being paid … but my major complaint is the ridiculous noise level, especially for a place called “the Study“. No noise absorbing materials, such as carpets, curtains or ceiling tiles. This has to be one of the noisiest small places I’ve ever dined at. This is my second time and nothing has changed. As a local resident, I will not be back, nor will I recommend this place.More infoThe StudyPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Alexandria•4.9
- BBeccaWashington, D.C. Area •1 review4.0Dined on Sep 21, 2024The ambience and view are great. Service was good. However, two frustrations. There were no age restrictions mentioned online or in person, and yet my friends with a three year old daughter were not allowed to stay. And there was a mixup with the credit cards where the wrong card was charged.More infoGood FortunePrice: Moderate• Cocktail Bar• Alexandria•4
