Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Allston

You can’t beat the fireplace ambience. So cozy. Great for a date. The food was delicious, however, the chicken Melanese was disappointing as it was just a fried chicken breast toped with romaine lettuce. The Salmon looked amazing though and the brussels sprout appetizers were delicious.

Great Brunch and Bloody Mary Bar. Great for Groups!

We absolutely love visiting the Rail Stop! Every time we come, we know we’re in for a fantastic meal and a wonderful experience. The staff is always so warm and welcoming, especially when it comes to our little ones, which means the world to us. A special shoutout to April for always making us feel right at home. The Harvest never disappoints even on a busy Friday night that just happens to be Valentine’s Day. The food is delicious and, just as importantly, as you ordered it. My medium-well done filet mignon was exactly the temperature I requested. Too often, it comes out rare, but not here. The pacing of courses was good: neither too fast nor too slow. The Harvest manages to reinvent itself decade after decade without losing the fine quality and service it is famous for. Just go; you’ll be glad you did.
