Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Candler-McAfee

The food and ambiance were a one of a kind experience. Very rarely do I experience food that brings out an emotion of such joy and surprise and this place brought that without any hype or expectation. Our server was fun, friendly, and read the table perfectly with great timing and great knowledge of the food and place. This place is worth the trip from half way across the country. Well worth the price as well. The complementary valet parking was a lovely surprise for us as well. Spent around $100 to $150 for each person but had 2 to 3 cocktails each to go with each part of our meal. The menu apparently changes with the season. I cannot wait to return again!

We had the best time! The service was phenomenal, and the food was absolutely incredible. There wasn’t a single thing our party got that wasn’t delicious. We went for my birthday and joked that our group wants to go for everyone’s birthday for the next 10 years. You won’t be disappointed!

First visit with my husband, and it couldn’t have been better! We had a fantastic Christmas night filled with amazing drinks, a cozy and festive ambiance, and delicious food. The lobster roll and oysters were my favorites—truly outstanding!

We enjoyed The Select for their Christmas Eve Prix Fixe. We had the trout and vegan plate and loved both. The sorbet and pear tart were excellent. The Reindeer Don’t Drink mocktail was delicious. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and our waitstaff was highly attentive!

We had an amazing time! The decor, the view, the elegance, the service was all spectacular! When you arrive to the elevator up , you are warnly greated by a hostess. Once you arrive upstairs, you are once again greated by a warm friendly smile. Once seated the people that serve are all warm and friendly. They made our visit truly unforgettable. We were dining with 2 children 6, 12. They made us all feel like we were family. The highlight of the visit was the waitress. I cannot remember her name, she had curly hair and siad she worked there for 41 years. What an amazing asset to this restaurant. She was entertaining, friendly, funny and really good at what she does! We will return just to see her! The food was PHENOMENAL. We ordered the filet mignion which was delicious. My wife ordered the Keto dish and left the plate empty. The kids ordered pizza, and us being native New Yorkers were amazed how good it tasted! We will be returning for sure. Yes the price was rather high but worth every penny!
