- OTOpenTable DinerGrand Rapids / Western Michigan •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoWe were seated at a high top for 2 people that overlooked the kitchen. My wife and I are average sized humans and we felt the table was a little cramped for shared plates, but this was the only negative thing to say about our evening. The service was outstanding with napkins, plates, and cutlery replaced with each course. The restaurant was filled with conversation and some fun music, about what you would expect with shared plates being the main theme. The drinks were great, the view from our table was superb. We had a look in on the open fire grill and the stone oven while also being able to watch the bartenders put on a show making cocktails. Food was top notch and came out spaced perfectly. We had the beef tartare, Carrots, octopus, and duck. This was an excellent date night, anniversary meal (if you’re ok with loud) or a great double date, I think 4 people here fits the menu size for their shared plates pretty well.More infoSelden StandardPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Detroit•4.8

- CCDetroit / Eastern Michigan •14 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024RH House never disappoints. It was a being Saturday night, but the food and service were excellent. The prime rib was cooked medium rare as requested. The chicken piccata was tender and flavorful. The clam chowder could have used more clam juice or seafood stock and less potatoes, but I cook my own and I'm picky. 😂 the Mile High Carrot Cake is always delicious. Thank you.More infoRH HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Rochester Hills•4.7
- JJosephDetroit / Eastern Michigan •5 reviews4.0Dined on Nov 8, 2024The food quality has really gone downhill over the years. Ordered the macademia nut chicken with asparagus. Chicken was overdone and rubbery, and asparagus looked anemic and limp. The manager addressed the asparagus without having to make a request, which was the highlight of our dining experience. Our waitress was polite and attentive, but forgetful of requests. It's a shame because this restaurant holds a significant place for my wife and I; it's where I proposed. We enjoyed the food and ambiance in the past, but now it's crowded, too brightly lit, and less intimate for any chance of a romantic dinner. In the over 11 years since we've been married, this is only the fifth time we've eaten here, and I do not know that we'll ever come back given the superior quality of food that's available in the area.More infoKona Grill - TroyPrice: Moderate• Contemporary American• Troy•4
