- AAshtonGreensboro / Winston Salem / Highpoint •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoI had the pleasure of dining out last night, and my experience was made exceptional thanks to our server. From the moment we sat down, he was attentive, friendly, and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great meal. His recommendations were spot-on, and he made sure our drinks were always full without us even having to ask. What really stood out was his positive attitude and attention to detail. He anticipated our needs before we even voiced them, making the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. It’s rare to come across someone who truly loves what they do, and it showed in the way he interacted with us.More infoThe Old Fourth Street Filling StationPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Winston-Salem•4.6

- AAprilGreensboro / Winston Salem / Highpoint •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoDinner for my husband’s Bday was one of the best we’ve ever had in WS. Harrison is an amazing chef with such creative ideas and pairings, I’m always amazed. The soup (butternut squash and apple this time) is my starter every time- always puréed perfection. The wait staff always knows wines and drinks to suggest or to help us decide. Even a California rosé for this rosé snob hit the mark! I had the scallop special and finding the right words is a challenge. Sweet, tender scallops with a hint of herby citrus, earthy capers and micros. etc. with Pancetta vinaigrette? Who even knew that was a thing? This dish is absolutely a top fave for me. Hubs had Filet Oscar and couldn’t rave enough. We were stuffed but couldn’t resist the white chocolate, chai crème brûlée with homemade marshmallow fluff (lightly toasted- yum!) and a ginger cookie on the side. We were so happy & full! Everything truly was perfect. Highly recommend any or all of the above! We can’t wait to return to Downtown Grille!More infoDowntown GrillePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Winston-Salem•4.9
- DDanaVIPAsheville / Western North Carolina •29 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy friend and I had a wonderful dinner here last night. We ordered the pork belly and salmon skewers as a starter and then had the Mussels, Wedge Salad and Mac and Cheese which were all delicious. We had great service with Chris who was very attentive and professional. He introduced us to the sommelier for wine assistance as well. We really appreciated having a knowledgeable “wine guy” on staff. He even answered questions beyond the menu. He was enthusiastic, friendly and made a good recommendation based on our taste preference. (Sorry we do not remember his name or I would give him a shout out!) The small things from a service perspective were noticed. We had leftovers which Chris took away and boxed up for us. This is a great touch beyond handing your guest a box and having them do it themselves. He also took away my friend’s mussel shells mid-meal so she could continue with a nice clean bowl. We will be back again! Thanks for a great dinner and for having a wonderful staff who greatly added to our experience!More infoSage & Salt BistroPrice: Expensive• American• Winston-Salem•4.7
