Our server Preston was very gracious and attentive - he had a wonderful sense of how we wanted to be served. The manager Rhea (we had met before during a tour of the Populus, which they run on Thursdays) came over to say hello - she was lovely and calm. This beautiful restaurant was nearly full on a Monday night. The food was fantastic - the two of us split an appetizer (mushroom tempura), entree (steak skewers) and vegetable (beets). Everything was delicious. We kind of got off to a rough start with the host. we wanted to know if they had drinks while we waited for our table all he could seem to say is we have a lounge. We asked if there was a bar available while we waited he said all we have is a lounge. I asked are we able to get drinks he said we had a lounge not a bar. So we went next door and had a few drinks until we waited for our reservation. Then we came back in 15 minutes before a reservation he escorted us to the lounge and then asked us if we wanted a drink! But other than that it was a great experience great food great waiter! It took a while for it to come but that's only because all food is made to order fresh. Once it came it was one of the most flavorful steaks I've ever had.
