Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Dundas

Took my girlfriend here for our anniversary and was very surprised by our overall experience. Staff was super friendly and thoughtful even going out of their way to wish us a happy anniversary, food was excellent and fair priced and lastly the vibe of the night was very nice with the greenery inside and open concept with the full kitchen and bar in view. Highly recommend this place for a night out.

It was our first time at Louix Louis and we had a great time!! We were sitting at the bar and our bartenders/servers were amazing. They were welcoming, friendly and engaging. The bartender suggested the Louix Spritz with a shot of Casamigo Reposado and it was one of the best cocktails I have ever had..must try!! For our dinner, we ordered Burrata and Endive salad, Crab salad, Lobster Risotto and Filet Mignon, and King's Chocolate cake for dessert, all was superb!!! Great service, beautiful and relaxing ambience and superb food and drinks. Our overall experience was amazing!! We will definitely go back. This place is a must visit restaurant if you have not been. I went for Valentine's Day. They had a three-course fixed price menu for $89. The thing that stood out the most was the service. Our waiter was very attentive and helpful; he must have filled my water glass five times! The appetizer was good - I had the mushroom soup. The main course (duck two ways) was excellent. We shared a dessert, which also was good. Although it was pricey, I would come back for a special occasion.

Best valentines experience yet! Thank you for all your accommodations and wonderful ambiance. Will return. Only thing I wish I could have had another drink but was never offered a top up of water or second beverage. The fillet mignons ordered were cooked differently, but were supposed to both be medium well. One was a little undercooked from the other. The other thing was that there was a female manager confronting their staff about a mishap in front of my table. Not the best place to talk about business. However, it was a lovely place and very tasteful food.

We went a couple for the winterlicious menu. It was very quiet (could be the storm). The location and ambience were great so was the food and the service. Erin, who was in charge of our table attended to our comfort and timely service. It was an overall great experience.
