The food was slightly different from the last time - we ordered the steak with sushi again, and my husband had the blackened chicken, followed by desserts. The chocolate cake was salty, which is probably a Canadian twist, but it felt unusual for us. Working a very NYC vibe in Kensington market with phenomenal staff, delicious food in a fun comfortable arty room. Sat at the kitchen bar: a front row seat to watching the chefs do their magic. Last night was a special tasting menu, highlights for me were the Crueler with Crab, the green chili, pancetta and collard paparadelle and the delicious sour dough. An amazing veal schnitzel chop with all the trimmings. And for starters a brilliant lobster salad with delicious pear tatin to finish. Excellent fun service from Marketa. Our meals were flawless and beautifully presented and got us out in time for the theatre. The place is darned pretty and was even more so in the holiday season.
