Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Northside

A bit loud for my taste, but this is the second time in two months that we’ve been there and both times the food and the service have been excellent. The place has a modern vibe and there was a huge crowd there getting ready to watch an NCAA football game. It’s the place to be if you want a big screen. 

Fantastic food and ambiance. The service was very attentive. There is a lounge that abuts the dining space that is just lovely for an after dinner drink. The only drawback was that the lounge’s DJ was gone by 9:30.

Excellent food, well prepared, very conscientious and prompt service. Ambience and views were noteworthy. Will definitely return especially when the rooftop deck is open!

Our first time here and definitely worth the trip from Fairfield. Server Holly was great, we followed her recommendations on wine and food and she was spot on. Especially loved the mushroom risotto. The jazz combo was perfect, added a great vibe without disrupting table conversation. Can't wait to go back.

I had made reservations months before and at the beginning of the week of our reservation, they announced the restaurant was permanently closing the night we were to be there. I was a bit concerned that the menu would be limited but the full menu was available. As I had previously heard, the food and service was fantastic. We had ordered the bbq chicken, pasta with scallops, ricotta bread and some drinks. The atmosphere was excellent and despite them permanently closing that evening, it felt like everyone wanted Red Feather to go out on top.
