- MMark & JoniSan Francisco Bay Area •5 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoA group of us friends has an annual meet-up at the Rotunda. Things have changed over the years and especially since the Covid shut down, but the menu is always an interesting variety of creative ideas with something for everyone, reservations are easy to make, the service is friendly and efficient, as well as patient, supporting us having a good time. Add popovers and we couldn’t imagine going anywhere else.More infoThe Rotunda at Neiman Marcus - San FranciscoPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Downtown / Union Square•4.8
- LLarryVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •182 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoHospitality, Service, and food all wonderful. We were particularly impressed with the Service. Both from our server as well as from the Sommelier. Everyone was friendly, articulate and very pleasant. All of our dishes were excellent. The only thing that could be improved upon is the selection of Music playing in the dining room.More infoSprucePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Presidio Heights•4.8
- DdayVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe Progress never disappoints. We sat at the bar for a pre birthday celebration and had the best time. First, if you get to have the pleasure of Brent the bartender and server was outstanding in every sense. While making tons of cocktails, he was able to guide us through the menu and pick the best choices for our meal - all with a beautiful grin. The food is above excellent, imaginative, well prepared and presented. Service staff is efficient and just the right amount of friendly. A definite go to!More infoThe ProgressPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Western Addition•4.8
- WWilliamVIPSan Francisco Bay Area •81 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoAlways on point. Quickly seated and greeted. Great menu. Excellent wine list, and clever cocktails. Good service, engaging and helpful. The tartare is absolutely fantastic. Wonderful salmon, clever preparation and composition, and perfectly delicious. Chicken sandwich is huge and very tasty, the flavors weaving together. Enjoy.More infoWayfare TavernPrice: Moderate• American• Financial District / Embarcadero•4.6
- AAudreySan Francisco Bay Area •4 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 25, 2024The food quality at Octavia is very high. The chefs really know what they’re doing. We had a pre-fixe menu for Christmas Eve dinner and they accommodated dietary restrictions with advanced notice. They actually called a few days in advance of the reservation to confirm the dietary restrictions which was really nice. We had 9 courses I think and they were all delicious. My favorites were the soup and the pasta dishes. The service was also very good, the servers were very attending and accommodating. There was one dish I didn’t eat much of because it had radicchio in it which I don’t like, and our server offered to have the kitchen make me a replacement dish with a different lettuce instead. The only negative of Octavia is that it feels very cramped. The space is small and they squeeze in a lot of tables so you’re sitting basically on top of other diners and it’s a little awkward. Everything else was great though. I would definitely recommend Octavia as a good place for special occasions or bringing out of town visitors.More infoOctaviaPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary American• Pacific Heights•4.7
