    We had a great experience at Proper 21 in DC! The food was delicious, and the service was excellent… our server was attentive and made sure everything was perfect. The highlight was the dessert. We tried the churro, and it was hands down one of the best we’ve ever had. It was crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and perfectly paired with creamy vanilla ice cream. If you’re in DC, Proper 21 is a must-visit for great food, excellent service, and unforgettable dessert!

    Food was good the Valentine’s Day menu was limited so I would like to try something else. Drink were strong so if you get 2 or 3 make sure you have an uber. Victor our waiter was perfect, he made sure we got exactly what we wanted and gave great drink suggestions. I’ll definitely be back and ask to be in his section

IM A SKINNY BIG GIRL WHO LOVES TO EAT, AND THE FOOD WAS FOODIN BABY!! PRICES WERE VERY REASONABLE, DRINKS WERE OK IF YOU LIKED FRUITY DRINKS (SO I STUCK TO SHOTS)!! LEWIS AND THYNIS ( I PRAY THATS THE CORRECT SPELLING OF THE YOUNG LADY NAME) WERE DEFINITELY DOIN THEIR BIG ONE!! GREAT PERSONALITY, VIBE, SERVICE, EVERYTHING!!!     The only thing that turned me off was that every table around me were greeted by a server or performers. We had to ask for someone to come and explain to us how to order and what would make our first visit more enjoyable. Now that I’ve “experienced” the restaurant, I will know what to do and not waste 45 minutes trying to figure out how to order and not miss more performances. Since time was limited to two hours, I was worried that we would not have enough time to eat or drink. After placing an order we waited an additional 30+ minutes for our first drink to arrive then our food. Wasn’t sure if we had enough time to order a second drink, which we did but had to drink it fast as our two hour dining experience was over.
