- DDavidLas Vegas •7 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoExcellent as always, nothing too much trouble for the staff and always pleasant and attentive. Food was excellent, we had the 9 course tasting menu which was wonderfully amended to suit my wife's intolerances. Every course was a delight. Has to be one of the best restaurants, if not THE Best, in Derby. While it remains this good we will continue to return.More infoDarleys RestaurantPrice: Expensive• British• Derby•4.5

- MMayassaLondon •21 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 13, 2024From arriving, it was a fabulous set up, the lounge where we we had cocktails and canapés was lovely, then after half an hour we were taken to the restaurant upstairs. Course after delicious course arrived and were beautifully presented and explained. We thoroughly enjoyed them BUT as soon as we took the last bite and put the cutlery down, the plate was whisked away before we’d even chewed and swallowed. I did comment each time ‘ that’s too quick’ and it meant that we felt we were on a conveyor belt and rushed. We’d driven up from Kent ( booking an hotel for the night) and arrived at the hotel literally 40 minutes before our seating time and so we were wanting to relax but this meant we were rushed. And as soon as we finished our last course with wine still in our glasses, they wanted to move us back to the lounge for coffee and petit fours but I refused saying I wanted to finish my wine. As we commented to each other and compared it it to Aulis/Raby Hunt/ Frog/ L’enclume/ Roux at Landau/ Gavroche/ Fat Duck etc.. we decided this was far far too rushed and at that very moment I got my phone out and booked Aulis for our 5th time. Nice though Opheem was, I think we’ll stick to our Aktar at Home deliveries that we’ve had for the last 4/5 yrs and have them relaxing at home. The staff were excellent but the management have decided to maximise revenue by processing customers through - very sad.More infoOpheemPrice: Very Expensive• Indian• Birmingham•4.9
- SSueBirmingham/West Midlands (county) •24 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 7, 2024Visited two years ago, and wow has the restaurant expanded and developed . Arrived stressed and late due to the storm, into a peaceful haven. Snacks in the lounge area were delicious, well explained and served. Our table at the top of the stairs was like being in our own private dining room, overlooking the pass. The kitchen was a sea of calm. The service was impeccable, each course , some finished at the table was well introduced and explained, there was some wonderful attention to detail. The food was delicious without exception, although my highlight was probably the venison, and the massaman sauce. The wine flight was lovely my friend thought it was the best one they had ever had. Overall definitely five star, cant wait to come back. Big thanks to the 670grms team for making my day very special.More info670 gramsPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• Birmingham•4.9
