Best Contemporary European Restaurants in Fresh Meadows

It was our second time there in the past week. Hadn’t been there for awhile and went with our friends that never ate there. Everyone loved it and went back last night. Food and service were excellent and reminded us we love it there and will be back more often. The lobster Il Toscano over angle hair is amazing along with everything else. Most important is that Alex and everyone working there are very attentive, professional and show they value their customers.

Literally, our favorite place to eat and bring friends on the upper east side. Consistently excellent food, service and good wine/drinks! I want you to know we cab it to this restaurant as it’s not around the corner, it’s that good! Go and enjoy. You’ll become a regular like us!

We had such a lovely brunch! We were worried about finding a place in our popular 'hood that would not be swamped, so we made a reservation; but this gem was not overcrowded. There were a few dishes I had in mind for brunch, so I asked the waiter which he recommended; he suggested the smoked salmon toast. That was what my friend chose too; and we both lucked out! It was just delicious. Our cappucino also was great. The noise level was perfect—not quiet like a library, but quiet enough to talk. Since the recommendation on the main dish had been solid, we also asked the waiter to help us choose between dessert options. He suggested the tiramisu, and it was great. Because this place was not jam-packed, they let us sit for a while, and we never felt rushed. Lovely ambiance, great food, and reasonable prices. I didn't know this combination existed in W'burg anymore. ; ) Looking forward to coming back.
