- MMitchalLondon •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoIt is such a treat to be able to go to such an iconic hotel. It is definitely something we could not do every week i only wish we could. So after saving for a year to go and with such high expectations it did not disappoint. No words can describe it truly amazing. I would love to give a special mention to the young lady who was serving us Emma. She is a credit to your establishment and i hope she progresses with your company. Working in customer service my whole life she went above and beyond to make my partner and myself visit very special.More infoGalleryPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary British• Covent Garden•4.7
- PPavVIPNew York City •51 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoThe staff greeted us kindly. Unfortunately, they couldn’t have our table ready when we arrived on time so we had to wait 10-15 mins. But we were given a nice corner table. We ordered from the fixed price menu: pumpkin soup, chicken and ham terrine, mussels, steak tartare, creme brûlée, and steamed Christmas pudding. Food was excellent on the whole. I think the mussels were a bit too creamy and didn’t need that much cream. But the quality of the mussels was very good. Jasmine tea was of excellent quality! Table wine was so, so and we should have trusted the waiter on this one. We wished we’d ordered better wine. Service was very good overall. Nice atmosphere, good quality food and tea. Cannot wait to go back and try the burger.More infoBalthazar LondonPrice: Expensive• French• Covent Garden•4.3

- DDarrenLondon •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 19, 2024So it was 5 stars all around. The service was probably 5.5 stars even thought the waiters were Italian not French but for me good service is attentive at all time while not being intrusive. My wife had one cocktail with the meal and wash tentative in ordering and the waiter watached observantly and when she was not drinking came and asked if everything was OK and she said she would have liked it a little more sweet than sour so he took it away and adjusted. Happy wife happy life as they say.More infoLe Cafe du MarchePrice: Very Expensive• French• Barbican•4.7
