Their cocktails were solid, good glassware and the cocktail inside of them. Shared two antipasti’s including Calabrian Clams (the best thing I ate all night, and the Burrata platter. The prosciutto was perfect, as were the lesser items, but the burrata was definitely a bit subpar. Not bad by any means, but maybe the weakest link. We split an Insalata Rustica four ways and there was plenty. My friend had the bucatini carbonara which was delicious but nearly too rich if that’s possible. I had the lasagna, and couldn’t finish even half of it. The gals split the Pasta Contadino. Neither of them finished a half order. A bonus was that they had a list of about 20 wines for half price. Overall a very nice experience.More infoSapori TrattoriaPrice: Moderate• Italian• Lincoln Park•4.7

Executive Chef Maurizio, with his roots deeply tied to Sicily, crafts dishes that are as heartfelt as they are flavorful. Our experience there last night was nothing short of amazing! We enjoyed some of their handmade pasta which is always cooked to perfection, and the sauces are rich and flavorful. Try the Cacio e Pepe experience. The seafood dishes were particularly notable, from the Cioppino to the Grilled Octopus, with flavors that remind you of the Mediterranean coastline. Chef Maurizio’s specials are always worth exploring — they highlight his creativity and love for bold, authentic ingredients. Last nights specials didn't disappoint!!! The cocktail menu is equally impressive, featuring unique creations, and the wine selection is impeccable, with many Sicilian and Italian varieties that paired beautifully with our meals. The ambiance at Gaia is intimate yet lively, making it perfect for a family gathering or a night out with friends. The family ownership shines through in every interaction — they truly make you feel like part of their extended family. If you're looking for an authentic Italian experience with a touch of Sicilian magic, Gaia Italian Restaurant is where you need to be. It’s a little slice of Italy right here at home. Bravo, Chef Maurizio and team! 🇮🇹❤️More infoGaia ItalianoPrice: Moderate• Italian• Berwyn•4.7
