Amrith Singapore presents cocktails inspired by history but redefined with a twist. This very original Singapore bar on Scotts Road in Orchard was born as an extension to Michelin-starred restaurant, The Song of India, so in addition to the restaurant’s brand of Indian cuisine guests can now enjoy an exquisite cocktail experience. Amrith – which means ‘nectar of the gods’ in Sanskrit – is also a collaboration with BarSmiths, a consultancy group specialising in cocktails and mixology, meaning the menu is adventurous and unique. It’s split into four mains acts – The World Journey, The Classic and Modernist, The Big Bath and The Luxury Flight – which together allow guests to try cocktails that may be interpretations of the classics, inspired by travels, meant for sharing or made with some of the finest and most rare alcohol from around the world. Amrith by BarSmiths Singapore should not be missed.

Mischief Singapore is a fusion restaurant in Esplanade that takes Southeast Asian street food recipes and puts an American twist on them, with impressive results. Using ancient techniques, exciting international ingredients and a creative flair, head chef Mark Tang is on to a very good thing at Mischief Singapore, located in Esplanade Mall on Raffles Avenue. This is the ideal spot to hit up with a group of friends, family or colleagues because the menu is perfectly suited to sharing lots of small plates, tapas, platters and more – accompanied by a bucket of craft beers, of course! Hero’s Singapore is the place to be for live music and live sport. On Circular Road around Boat Quay, Hero’s Singapore is a huge, Wild West-style place where a good atmosphere is guaranteed thanks to a regular live band and many, many TV screens. The kitchen offers an irresistible fusion of Indian and Western food which means kebabs, wraps, pizzas and plenty more besides, and in terms of drinks Hero’s Singapore is one of a kind. In the VIP area, guests can pour their own cold beer right at their table and track exactly how much they’re drinking (and spending) on an electronic display. For one heck of a good time, we really can’t get enough of Hero’s Singapore.
