Best Dessert Restaurants in Bellaire

I absolutely loved this experience and will be gifting it to my brother and his wife. What I appreciated most was that it wasn’t overly romantic—it could be, but it wasn’t by default. I attended with a friend because we both love drinks and, more importantly, chocolate. The host was incredibly knowledgeable, taking us on an adventure through the history and geography of each piece of chocolate. It was well worth the time and money for a fun outing with a friend. I do wish they would add a mead-related drink to the menu. Given their deep knowledge of chocolate, it would be great to also learn about honey, which holds significant cultural importance—just like chocolate. I believe this would a great pair for chocolate.

This is hands down one of my favorite places to eat in Houston! The food is ALWAYS phenomenal and the service and atmosphere is PERFECT. The food is perfection and the wine list is EXTENSIVE! We enjoyed the pre-set menu last night for Valentine's day. The chateaubriand was prepared perfectly - flaky pastry and the tenderloin was delightful! We have spent many special occasions at Cafe Rabelais and look forward to many more. Our family loves it! Yours will too.
