Atmosphere, decoration and ambience was outstanding. Cocktails were creative and very delicious but rather overpriced Very disappointed in the cakes: mouse was very sharp, cheesecake was tasteless, shortbread was thin and most unlike shortbread I have had ever had before. Could do with changing those. We had a table by the door: very draughty : suggested they could do with blocking the table with a draft excluder around the table. Apart from those comments would definitely give it anither try.

We were sitting in the new dining room area which gave the 5 of us plenty of space, and allowed the dog to keep a watch out! Great atmosphere and good accoustics of locals, diners and general pub ‘coming and goings’. The stilton soup was phenomenal and 3 of the group chose the orange posset which has raised this quirky desert to new levels.
