Best European Restaurants in New Eltham

This place is a little gem! The service is impeccable: all the servers are so professional, well-trained and exceptionally helpful. Set in a warm mid-century modern decor, it’s intimate, cosy and was decorated for the season to perfection. Thanks to the chef for creating a well balanced menu the food is delicious too! I’ve been coming here for years and every guest I bring loves it. Excellence personified.

We visited Gong bar on 27/11 at 16.00 - What a fabulous venue, with excellent service and a unique atmosphere. The whole experience was exceptional, and our Spanish waiter was brilliant with his recommendations and his service. We had a great time and would recommend anyone who is thinking of celebrating any occasion, special or not, going to this venue. One of the top venues in London with atmosphere, a great view and great service.

Great service, delicious food and good wine. Staff were fantastic and service exemplary. Hope that the first floor area will resume being an area customers can use in the future, if not already privately reserved. We missed being able to enjoy the view overlooking the park in a quieter area but, apart from that, the staff provided a brilliant service. Thank you

Loved this place, the staff are super friendly and attentive but not “in your face”. It is indeed a grand café, more of a grand brasserie. Can highly recommend the nibbles, beautifully served warm bread, hot padron peppers and superb iberico ham. Fab wines and really lovely mains. Even the espresso was spot on. Well done the Brush, we had a great birthday celebration for my husband. We didn’t try the cocktails but the mixologist was creating a range for staff training purposes and they looked amazing. Next time….
