Best Farm To Table Restaurants in Lake Forest

6 of us went for a brunch get together. None of us had been to the Blue Door Farm Stand before. We were seated in the upstairs room (there is an elevator). Very light and open. Must be sound absorbent material in the walls/ceiling. We were able to have a normal conversation without shouting. The service was appropriately attentive. The food was very good. Everyone was happy with their meal. Starters included black pepper biscuit and sweet potato empanadas. Entrees included pancakes, corned beef hash, chilaquiles, avocado benedict. All in all, a great place for a meal

We came for a holiday dinner with our adult kids and had a great time! Drinks were top notch! Appetizers yummy. Pizzas and gnocchi fantastic. The owner has decorated the whole place just beautifully for Christmas and it was the perfect place to share an evening together. Thank you Mickingbird! Merry Christmas!!

We’ve passed through Eden on multiple occasions, noticed it when taking my Lab to MedVet & Eye Care for Animals. Staffers remembered our Anniversary (week) celebration (I forgot the note on the reservation 😛). We didn’t anticipate the complimentary beverage. Most establishments don’t offer anything these days, we really appreciated the gesture. Drinks are strong, I went w/ Manhattan, wifey w/ Hot Toddy. Food was great. I opted for Burger w/ Fries, wifey ate Duck Banh Mi w/ Eden Salad. I’m not a big fan of Kale but the side Salad was amazing!!

We had such a lovely dinner. Everything was outstanding. The service, food and atmosphere. So welcoming. Went on Wednesday night when bottles of wine are 50% off what a value. Large selection of quality wines. We had the the special…bone in New York strip absolutely delicious. Made to Perfection and the perfect temperatures we requested. Server recommended a lovely wine and that complemented the steaks. Plan to return many times.

So glad we went to Farm Bar before a show at Old Town School of Folk Music. The service was very warm and welcoming. The food was all great- we had the cabbage and potato plates to share, both delicious. Our entrees of gnudi and pork chops were so good. Lovely place.
