We came in to celebrate a birthday, and although our reservation details were a bit unclear, Aaron was very accommodating and secured us a great seat in the lounge. Tess provided excellent service throughout the evening. One observation I noted, which is common in many restaurants in Santa Fe, is that if they’re not busy, they tend to start winding down operations before their official closing time. This was the only slight downside to our experience. We made a last-minute dinner reservation for 5 o’clock on a Saturday, which is a peak time in Santa Fe, and I was pleased with how everything unfolded. From the front to the back of the house, the service was exceptional. Daniel, our server, was attentive and knowledgeable, while Christine, the wine sommelier, went above and beyond. She helped us navigate a challenging situation caused by a lively party behind us by moving our table slightly and bringing us a lovely glass of champagne, which was a thoughtful touch. We were pleasantly surprised by the Restaurant Week menu, which had offerings we genuinely enjoyed, along with excellent wine pairings. The restaurant's layout and atmosphere were appealing, and the quality of both the food and service was top-notch. I highly recommend Palace Prime and also heard they offer a nice happy hour. Thank you for making our evening special!More infoPalace PrimePrice: Expensive• American• Santa Fe•4.7

We two went for Restaurant Week and were completely impressed with his extensive menu with many selections of wonderfully complex entrees. Then, came the food. All of our expectations were satisfied as each course revealed itself. This was probably the best meal that we have ever had in Santa Fe.More infoRestaurant MartinPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Santa Fe•4.7
- SSaraVIPGreater Boston •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoWhat a delightful restaurant ! We were sat in the coziest dining room with a gorgeous bottle of sparkling rose from Greece. We tried most everything on the menu and loved it all. Almonds and olives, radish salad, spreads, house-made focaccia and ricotta, duck confit, gnocchi and blue corn polenta with Parmesan! Yum! Spicy Cucumber & Avocado Salad – A refreshing start to the meal, this salad is the perfect balance of crisp and creamy. The cucumbers bring a bright, cooling crunch, while the avocado adds a silky richness. Tossed in a delicately spicy dressing, every bite is vibrant, with just the right amount of heat to awaken the palate. Crispy Spicy Tuna – This dish is a masterpiece. The contrast between the crispy rice and the buttery, spicy tuna is divine. Each bite offers a satisfying crunch, followed by the bold umami of the tuna, enhanced by just the right amount of spice. It’s the kind of dish that lingers on your mind long after the meal. Izanami’s Famous Smoked Pork Ribs – Simply put, these ribs are unforgettable. Slow-smoked to perfection, they fall off the bone with ease, carrying a deep, smoky flavor that’s rich yet perfectly balanced. The glaze provides a slightly sweet and savory umami finish that keeps you coming back for more. This is comfort food elevated to an art form. Hōjicha Panna Cotta – A perfect ending to the meal. The roasted hōjicha tea infuses the panna cotta with a warm, nutty depth, setting it apart from any ordinary dessert. It’s luxuriously smooth, delicately sweet, and paired with just the right accents to highlight its earthy, caramelized flavors. A must-try for anyone who appreciates a refined, yet comforting dessert. From start to finish, Izanami delivers an experience that is both innovative and deeply satisfying. Every dish is thoughtfully crafted, highlighting fresh, high-quality ingredients with a balance of flavors and textures that keep you coming back. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning guest, these selections are an absolute must-try.More infoIzanamiPrice: Expensive• Creative Japanese• Santa Fe•4.8
