- JJohnDenver / Colorado •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoWe had the pleasure of dining at Ashten’s last night for our anniversary, and it was truly a memorable experience. We ordered the Crispy Maple Leaf Farms Duck and the 12-ounce Brasstown Beef NY Strip, and both dishes were nothing short of perfection. The duck was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, with a rich, flavorful sauce that tied the dish together beautifully. The NY Strip was cooked exactly to our liking — tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. Our waiter elevated the experience even further with his thoughtful recommendations, genuine enthusiasm, and impeccable attention to detail. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and service exceed expectations, but Ashten’s delivered on every level. Highly recommend this restaurant for any special occasion or even just a night out. We will definitely be returning for more!More infoAshten'sPrice: Expensive• Farm-to-table• Southern Pines•4.8

Our most recent dinner was certainly one of the best we have had there. Their current menu is heavily vegetarian, which works great for us as my wife is a vegetarian. The beef bourguignon was simply fantastic for me. And best of all, the salad with the lemon tahini dressing has been unchanged since we first had it 30 years ago. We haven't been going as much lately as parking is a bit tricky, but I think we will be back more often again.More infoIrregardlessPrice: Moderate• Farm-to-table• Raleigh•4.8
- EEloyAsheville / Western North Carolina •1 review5.0Dined on Dec 26, 2024Warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff was amazing and created a wonderful dining experience, bringing Manhattan-style dining to Southern Pines. Delectable meal choices did not disappoint. Even my most finicky guest cleaned their plate and expressed approval for the remainder of the evening. Thank you.More infoChef Warren'sPrice: Very Expensive• French American• Southern Pines•4.8
