Great service, atmosphere and food. I think our waitress was Brianna and she provided excellent service! Looking forward to our next visit.

Not a very busy restaurant. Maybe because it is in a hotel in a city that has lots of other good restaurants? Or were we there too early? Not sure. The food was good, wine was good, nice ambience. Prices are sort of high, but not prohibitive. We had a good dinner after a nice experience upstairs at the "sky bar" on the 12th floor.

1592 has achieved that rare balance of providing welcoming, personal and attentive service, with a fun, vibrant atmosphere. Each dish is perfectly prepared and presented, always with an interesting twist on the expected. Sarasota is fortunate to have such a high-level food and drink experience with a warm, friendly atmosphere! Drink? Yes; don't miss the Holiday Cocktails, very unusual and yummy. So far, we've enjoyed the Spanakopita, lamb, spicy Falafel, yellowfin Tataki -which we paired with the Baba Ganoush on the suggestion of our waiter - all excellent! And the desserts!! Don't miss the honeyed cake with Baklava gelato! All in all, this place is quickly rising to the top of our Favorites list.
