- CChris1953London •9 reviews5.0Dined on Jul 2, 2022Great food, lovely services and perfect wine list. For me it’s a like a 5-year old going into a candy shop, when I opened the wine list I wanted almost everything - the list is extensive and more than reasonably priced (especially for Burgundy lovers). I went with the Chef’s surprising menu and the dishes and the wines I picked work pretty well. They used quite a few ingredients freshly from the field, the garden and the mountain. Loved the mushroom dish very much, simple yet delicious. For a game lover like me the venison is properly cooked. Fishes like tuna and lobster dishes are designed with details which bought out the freshness of the seafood. Also the watermelon sorbet is top notch, perfect for this summer weather! The desserts are not too sweet and with a subtle bitterness (from elderflower) which helped clean the palate and bring back freshness after the whole meal. The services are also very tentative. The staff speak good English and have good knowledge about the dishes and the wines. The chef and owner Andi who also put together the wine list is passionate about wine. We had a good chat after dinner and I hope that he would continue to keep fine matured Burgundy affordable in a restaurant. This is probably the only place I know in Europe that has DRC and Arnaud Ente by the glass in their list! Will definitely come back to visit again.More infoRestaurant JohannasPrice: Expensive• Wild Game• Grosshadern•4.7
