It was a pleasure to have an expansive buffet offered. Everything was presented in a charming yet elegant way. The seafood (freshly shucked oysters, large shrimp, smoked salmon, mussels, crab legs), and plenty of it, was a highlight for us. But the carvery station with baked ham and roast beef and roast pork with old-fashioned crackling was equally yummy! The service and attention to detail really shine. And a big part of that was due to our server, Candace. She was simply wonderful. Thank you all. We ordered three apps that were generously portioned for two people - steak tartare was beautifully textured but could have done with an egg yolk or something a bit creamy. The fish crisp with the oil and crispy bits on top was light, refreshing and packed full on f flavour and for those that like foie gras- highly recommend the kaizen toast. The drinks are absolutely amazing, but the highlight for me was their signature cocktail, Pink in the City 🙌🏻 it’s absolutely to die for! The King’s Cake Slice is totally worth it.
