- RRoyvipLondon •7 reviews5.0Dined 1 day agoHad an excellent family meal for 10 of us with great ambiance and service. We were placed in a quieter part of the restaurant which is what we asked for and everyone really enjoyed their food. - DDavidLondon •1 review5.0Dined 3 days agoLovely London night out in a great traditional venue. Your coat is taken as soon as you arrive and you are handed a numbered token, then the Maitre d (the owner) welcomes you at the entry desk letting you know when your table is ready. You are then taken through into one of several lovely old fashioned but well maintained rooms and seated at your table. You are presented with the menu which is all classic French fare - bisque, crab mayonnaise, pate etc, with mains including halibut, duck confit, cassoulet, lobster and more. The wine list is not extensive, but affordable with red wines from memory priced at between the late £20’s up to £300, so not too bad for a central london location. Desserts are also lovely pear and apple tart, tarte de citron and so on. All relatively simple dishes but cooked perfectly from my experience and that of my fellow guests. A lovely, classic London night out. We will be back.More infoL'EscargotPrice: Expensive• French• Soho•4.7
- MMelLondon •4 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoEnjoyable lunchtime with family members pre Christmas. Food was ok, however fillet was overcooked . Service was fairly good until the end when it petered out a bit. Overall an enjoyable afternoon for allMore infoBalthazar LondonPrice: Expensive• French• Covent Garden•4.3
- CCarolLondon •1 review5.0Dined 4 days agoWe were on time for our reservation but they were running late. It was extremely busy and they said the busiest day ever. Obviously the run up to Christmas there were a few parties. They asked us to wait outside undercover with some heaters overhead and blankets if we wanted to use them. Gave us a drinks menu but then came out with a glass of sparkling wine for each of us as they were late which was a nice touch. We waited for about 15 mins so no problem. Came and sat us the rest was brilliant. The only reason I gave it 4 for ambience is because it was so noisy but it was not there fault everybody was enjoying themselves too much🤣 Thank you for a great experience.More infoPalm Court BrasseriePrice: Moderate• Contemporary French• Covent Garden•4.6
