- SSharonMontreal / Quebec •1 review5.0Dined on Nov 21, 2024Little gem in Le Square Phillips Hotel! The food, drinks, service, ambiance were outstanding. The cauliflower appetizer, a signature dish, was amazing. The whole meal, from smoked salmon appetizer, grilled octopus and tuna tataki mains, to the unique lemon pie dessert were complex and delicious.More infoLe Carré RestaurantPrice: Expensive• Mediterranean• Downtown•4.8

We had a beautiful window table and great service, delicious 4 course meal, lovely music and delicious cocktails. - NNeilvipNew York City •74 reviews5.0Dined on Oct 17, 2024The restaurant is in the lobby of a hotel. I was unaware of that. There are not a lot of tables. We came after looking at the menu and when ordering we were told the foie gras was not available. A BIG disappointment. So I ordered the octopus with chorizo. The presentation was well done, the taste and texture was excellent. I also ordered the duck. Again the presentation was nicely plated and the flavors were beautifully executed, but it was overcooked and tough. My wife had a pear salad that was very tasty and the lamb, which I thought was very gamey, my wife enjoyed it a lot. Also beautifully presented over a bed of couscous. The wine selection was not huge but had enough choices to make us happy. The service was excellent. Very attentive and pleasant.More infoMonemePrice: Expensive• French• Downtown•4.6
