Best French Restaurants in Pleasant Hill

This evening with friends in this beautiful Lafayette neighborhood French restaurant was delightful. We have been here many times and always find wonderful new dishes that surprise me each visit. As a result we often share dishes just so we don’t miss out. Black truffles over scallops served on a bed of risotto was a favorite tonight.

Had heard many good things about this new establishment, and I was not disappointed Really quality food, I could have been in Paris Service was spot on! Everything arrived fresh and perfectly timed. This was the first time I had eaten there. The food was delicious. The service was great and the atmosphere is very nice. They had a couple large parties there so it was a little noisy. Definitely would go back again.

Long time friends joined us at La Sen Bistro for dinner when our Speaker Series Duo from LA cancelled their show. Waiter was fun and easy to engage. We had some giggles with him…. The food was wonderful

We were excited to go to Fizz having heard all about it on the Diablo Dish. The ambiance was great, we felt like we were in a Bar in France, and, comfortable. Andreas, our Server, was very friendly and knowledgeable. We don't drink a lot of Champagne, but we very much enjoyed our Tasting and learned a couple things, also, the Food was more than I expected and our appetizer was great. I would say as an fyi, it is pricey and they do oversell their Memberships a bit. We plan to go back and try more.
