- TTHOMASSan Diego •1 review5.0Dined 1 day agoGreat restaurant for a casual upscale dinner. It has a new chef and I am hopeful it does well. It uses farm to table concept and this time of year there isn’t much farming in the area. That concept will function better in the spring and summer, IMHO.More infoCollette’sPrice: Very Expensive• Farm-to-table• Escondido•4.8

Cocktails from menu are twists on classic cocktails, and they were truly extraordinary, as well as the off menu cocktails we ordered, and we've sampled some of the best. Food sampled at bar: Crudo, Tartare, Pain et Beurre, and Gougere. All were phenomenal. Service at bar was very attentive and knowledgable, they know what they're doing, and they do it well. Cool vibe and music playing from reel to reel player in bar. Very open, busy kitchen with frequent calls from cooks, "Oui, chef!" Great for foodies and cocktail nerds. Pricey, some may not appreciate the value.More infoJeune et JoliePrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• Carlsbad•4.9
- AAmyvipSan Diego •55 reviews4.0Dined 2 days agoGreat vibe, 2nd time here since the opening, nice to see the pictures on the wall and drapes have a much warmer feel, mainly got appetizers- especially the tuna tartare, all very delicious, the drinks had way too much ice, probably young bartender, causing watered down taste and resulting in it hardly being a drink. I'll come back for dinner, but will be doing my drinks elsewhere.More infoLe CoqPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French• La Jolla•4.4
