- PPamHouston •2 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe had our Annual Family Christmas Dinner at LA Colonial after a show downtown. The food was amazing - great menu, great wine/cocktail menu and the service was very good. The restaurant is very beautiful- it was a busy evening and I'm hoping to go back at a less busy time to really enjoy the ambiance. Our family loved the experience!More infoLe Colonial - HoustonPrice: Expensive• Vietnamese• Galleria / Uptown•4.8
- EEdwardVIPHouston •55 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy table had a wonderful time at Toulouse tonight, and I feel I should review some of the many positive things we experienced. The biggest win of the night was our waiter, Bryan. The guy was perfection as a waiter. My date and I are both OpenTable VIPs who know excellent service, and we agreed that the service experience was perhaps the best of the year. Bryan answered our detailed food questions, adapted to our crazy idiosyncratic requests, kept the drinks going on a busy Saturday night, and coordinated the valet at the end of our meal so the car was ready when we headed out. Flawless! The food here is excellent. The bread service features some of the best butter in town, so I recommend you start there. After the bread service, we continued with an order of lobster mini-tacos and the fromage cheese plate. We both got seafood specials for entree (scallops for me; sea bass for her). The $75 asking price for each entree special includes top ingredients like truffles, truffle oil, etc. I loved it and trust that you will, too.More infoToulouse - HoustonPrice: Expensive• French• River Oaks•4.8
- SSusanSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoWe went to the Marigold club for afternoon tea and all I can say is outstanding. The first thing you see is how beautifully decorated it is and we were seated at a lovely table for two. The wait staff is very attentive. The sandwiches and scones or something I’ve never had and all were very tasty. The toffee scone is simply delicious and is followed by a dish of beautifully decorated little desserts. The tea is different from any tea I’ve ever had in Houston. We will be coming back here for other meals they do have a dinner menu, which we didn’t see but I’m sure it’s just as delicious as everything else. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.More infoThe Marigold ClubPrice: Very Expensive• French• Montrose•4.6
