Best French Restaurants in Selden

The James has definitely become one of my favorite restaurants! Every staff member is so incredibly nice and helpful! I have difficult food restrictions, and the chef couldn’t be more accommodating. Matt, the Manager is so friendly, and kind, as was Carlos, our server! Perfect way to celebrate my birthday!

I couldnt have picked a better place to enjoy my first dinner of 2025. For starters, the restaurant is visually beautiful and they perfectly curated the music to create a relaxing ambience. It is clear that management has a particular attention to detail and it is something I greatly appreciate in any dining experience. I was seated upstairs near the balcony overlooking the downstairs dining area. It felt intimate but still lively. My server was Alecta and she was absolutely incredible. She made solid recommendations and checked in regularly to ensure I was enjoying my dining experience. The food was a 10/10 and came out quickly. I ordered the lobster bisque and the 12oz Australian ribeye. At no point did I have to ask for anything because the staff was so attentive. I will absolutely be returning and I 100% recommend to anyone.

Food was excellent ! Server was knowledgeable and very respectful ! We had a great table I invited my brother and his wife and they were very impressed as it was their first time. It was a great place to spend Christmas Eve. Thanks!

We’ve had consistently wonderful dining experiences at Sage. The menu is great, The food is delicious and always perfectly prepared (duck a l’orange!) and the servers are excellent. Always a classy, memorable meal.
