Best French Restaurants in Woodland Hills

Food and service were excellent. We had the steak frites and the mussels. The texture of the fries were the best I have ever had. Their bread and butter are amazing. We will definitely come back to try other items. It is rare to have a restaurant do everything so well. I hope they do not lower their standards.

Lovely restaurant with excellent food and service. Our first time experiencing a true French restaurant and it was delightful.

Always lovely! We went for Christmas Eve dinner and were 25 minutes late for our reservation. Not a problem though, we had to wait our turn but not too long. The food and service were all spot on despite their being very busy!

Outstanding meal. Great attentive service. Excellent food from the French Onion Soup and Hamachi Crudo appetizers to classic entrees Trout Almondine, Mussels Mariniere in a sublime white wine sauce with shallots and Creme Fraiche, and Filet au Poivre with a delicious cognac black pepper sauce. Belgian Endive Salad also very solid while the Bartender was on his game. All around great French Bistro vibe. And Chocolate Souffle to cap it off. A winner!

The food was outstanding and the service was excellent. There are so many "fancy" restaurants in Los Angeles where the food is disappointing, but this was not one of them. Having known about Republique for many years and seeing it on many "best" lists I was prepared to be disappointed, but it met my expectations. My parents and I were very pleased with our meal, the service, and the ambience which is beautiful. It qualifies as one of the best restaurants we've eaten at in Los Angeles, and is deserving of its designation as one of LA's top restaurants.
