Our opening date is 2nd December 2024, we cant wait to show this wonderfully redesigned Axe and Compasses to the village of Braughing. Our aim is to be the central hub of the community, and we are looking forward in welcoming guests back. The Axe and Compasses is a traditional British village pub dating back to 1628, serving a wide and varied selection of quality lagers, cask conditioned ales, fine wines, and premium spirits. Lovely food, piping hot served on hot plates which is always a must. Fish and chips was delicious, crunchy batter, lovely white fish, crispy chips, order the burger aswell, again delicious, nice and hot and generous filling, nacho cheese sauce lovely , it's our to go to pub for dinner now, will book for Sunday Lunch as soon as work allows.
