Best Gastro Pubs in Leyland

Was recommended to try it & so glad we did ,the carpark was busy so that speaks volumes, we were shown to our table & handed the menus ,everything on them you could wish for we chose the ho ho ho spring roll ,delicious, i had the gammon & my wife yhe scampi ,bit boring perhaps ,but bloody good , for puds we shared the meringue with fruits & the sundae extravaganza very nice ,overall couldn't fault it & will definitely recommend & will definitely will go again

Staff are excellent. The roast dinner was excellent, the beef just melted in the mouth and the veg and roast potato’s wer wonderful. Definitely coming back. Thanks

We had a fantastic evening at The Rum Fox. It is a lovely venue, very comfortable with plenty of room between tables. The staff were very friendly, did not rush us and were very helpful with any queries we had. The food was exceptional, with the menu having a great choice featuring locally sourced produce. We look forward to returning and have already recommended to some friends.

Our first time at The Hawthorn. Was a lovely restaurant. Greeted by very helpful polite staff. Very accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Efficient and professional. Pleasant and polite. I had the flat iron Steak with peppercorn sauce and crispy skin on fries. Absolutely delicious. Couldn’t find fault. Service was very prompt. The fries were the best I’ve ever tasted. My husband had the Burger with fries and he really enjoyed it too. Plenty of choices from the wine and beverage section. Prosecco was very nice as was the Ilkley beer. We didn’t have room for desert. Again nice choices from a traditional menu. Very nice indeed and we will definitely be returning.
