- PPeggySan Francisco Bay Area •15 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoVery fast service and delicious food. My party of four really enjoyed their food: pastrami salad, Philly cheesesteak, soup/sandwich combo, and pastrami on rye. We all drank tap water. Our bill came out to $90+ and after tip, it cost each of us $30. As delicious as the food was and the wonderful service, a simple meal in a non-white tablecloth venue is steep for $30. I really like this place but can't afford meals like this on a regular basis; that's for sure.More infoThe Refuge - San MateoPrice: Moderate• Gastro Pub• San Mateo•4.5

- GGordonVIPSan Diego •72 reviews4.0Dined on Dec 18, 2024We decided to try urban pot because it was within walking distance of our we stay in San Jose and the “Gastropub“ Monica appealed to us. The pizza was tasty, I’ll be at a bit light on the sauce with good ingredients. One of the party had the single cheeseburger, which I thought was overpriced for a 4 ounce patty, and the beer battered onion rings, which were two dollar upgrade, were good but a small serving. My draft West Coast IPA was $12 without a reduction for happy hour. All in all the food was good but not great, with a somewhat limited Menu and somewhat pricey for what you get. We didn’t play mini golf, but did look at the course which was cute and imaginative, and I would guess would make for a good time. Overall, we enjoyed our experience, but would suggest that the restaurant consider expanding its menu, and increasing its portion size or decreasing prices.
