Best Gastro Pubs in Singleton

Excellent food served with such pleasant staff. Probably more up market than your average pub meal but what a treat to eat there

Lovely food, good service, traditional old world pub

The menu is very good and the staff behind the bar and at the table were super helpful and welcoming. Our only issue us the length of time between ordering and getting food to table. Happy to wait for good food but time did seem too long.

Fantastic afternoon at the Star and Garter. Added 2 more people on very last minute (taking us to 4 adults and six kids!) and it wasn't a problem despite the pub being busy. A warm welcome, attentive service, nice wine and a fabulous food was then topped off by a musical duo performing after our meal who were brilliant. Such a warm vibe. Perfect Sunday afternoon in a country pub, exactly what we wanted.

Have eaten and stayed here a few times. It never disappoints. Food is fabulous, all the staff are attentive but not in your face all the time. Would highly recommend.
