Best Grills in Barton Creek

The meal was delicious, and our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was very nice and not loud even though the restaurant was mealy at capacity. We’ll definitely go back!

Every dish and every cocktail was outstanding. Flavor explosions with every bite, well balanced and unique cocktails. Gabby and Rudy took great care of us, George is a true hospitalitarian, and everyone who came to our table was so knowledgeable about the item they were serving. Great restaurant, great staff. Completely understandable why they earned a Michelin star. Run, don’t walk, to your reservation now!

We had a birthday party at Carve Barton Creek 12/20/24. It was a very enjoyable experience because of Colton (manager) and Lexi, our server . We wanted to change tables. Colton was very kind and accommodating. He checked in with us several times throughout our dinner celebration. Every bite and sip Lexi brought us was delicious. The eight of us tried almost everything. Thanks for another fun night!!

What a great night for dinner with our friends who haven't been here before! The four of us had a relaxing meal with exceptional service, and the food was cooked as ordered. The bill did NOT break the bank; very good pricing with so many options to choose from. My friends said they would be back very soon.

Underdog has been named Austin’s Best New Restaurant 2023 and one of Austin’s best restaurants — but it’s still underrated, in my humble opinion. It’s that good. Underdog should be named the the best in Texas, the Southwest, the U.S. Underdog’s food keeps getting better and better. Underdog’s wine program is top notch. Co-owner Richard Hargreave is among the country’s best wine professionals. I’ve been around the block a few times in this department and Richard shows me something new every time I go. All I say is “hey Rich — what should I get?” Spot on. And Underdog’s service team is so sweet. Most have been there since the start — which says a lot about the place. Go now.
