A really excellent lunch (only served from 3pm ... at least on a Monday. The choice of food is modest but really interesting and tasty. Service was warm and swift. The lamb dish (Rogan Josh?) was succulent and delicious. Make sure to book.

We found Essence to be a very relaxing and pleasant place to eat. The staff were welcoming, help, friendly and efficient.The excellent menu was varied yet not overpriced. We enjoyed all the amazing food - the flavouring in each dish was fantastic. Can’t wait to return!
