Best International Restaurants in Orange, New Jersey

Today was my first time dining at the restaurant and was not disappointed. Our server Amanda couldn’t have been more attentive or nice. There was no rush and the food was excellent. The desserts were a bit pricey in contrast to the meal.

Absolutely delicious drinks and food, with great service. We were on our mini honeymoon & requested to sit by the window. They were able to accommodate our request. The severs were knowledgeable and went out of their way to educate us about the gins in our drinks. I think one of their names was Eva or close to it? She was incredible. She recommended excellent gin cocktails based on me and my husband’s preferences. I normally don’t like gin, but both drinks were incredible. She even brought the bottles to the table for us to take pictures of. The food was mostly great. We ordered 4 tapas and shared them: truffle fries, the octopus, calamari, and tuna tartar. The octopus was a little cold and I didn’t love the croquets but that was just my opinion. The tuna was SO GOOD and so were the fries and calamari. I don’t love wasabi and was worried about the wasabi caviar but it was so subtle that it was enjoyable and not overpowering. I’d love to go back!!! It’s a must-try while you’re in the city. It also has a speakeasy in the back - I found out after we left so I didn’t get to try it lol

Good food, excellent service and nice location. Great midtown restaurant option.

This is the second time I've visited New York City at holiday time in recent years and have made an effort to have afternoon tea at the Whitby. It's a classy relaxed place with a special touch at holiday time

Stunning space, fabulous food, and maybe the finest service I’ve received anywhere on the east coast…Bravo to the chefs and this impeccable staff❤️
