- CCarynVIPColumbus •13 reviews4.0Dined 1 day agoThe service was very good. The food was just OK. I’ve been to this restaurant many times which is why I chose to come back here for my birthday. However, I feel the visit was below average. The flavor and the quality of the food was good just not what I would expect from a restaurant of this. Our server could not have been better. She did a great job! I just don’t think that this will be at the top of our list of restaurants for future visits.More infoMartini Modern ItalianPrice: Expensive• Italian• Short North - Arena District•4.7
- WWendyVIPPhoenix / Arizona •17 reviews4.0Dined 3 days agoOrdered a dish and asked the server if it was spicy and he said no. But it was so spicy I could not eat it. I have to be gluten free and thank goodness my friend also ordered gluten free as then we just swapped meals. The server did offer to bring us something else but we worked it out. I originally wanted lasagna, but then he said that was a typo on the menu and it wasn’t gluten free. There was a big party next to us that was super noisy. And they sat us at a 2 top right next to a doorway and a family party and I didn’t like that. When you are having a meal, bread and a bottle of wine, a 2 top just is NOT big enough. Next time I will make sure to speak up if they try to do that. But they were really busy and we were trying not to make waves. The server did offer us complimentary ice cream since the meal was so spicy and we got just one and split it. The GF bolognese was just ok. Pasta was a little undercooked and the sauce was skimpy. Overall it was an ok experience but not near as good as past visits. This is a place we always go when visiting the area but might skip it next time after this latest disappointing visit.More infoBrio Italian Grille - Columbus - EastonPrice: Moderate• Italian• Easton•4.4
- RRyanVIPColumbus •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoThis is not the restaurant fault but Cameron Mitchell’s needs to partner with CPD/ City of Columbus to ensure short north is safe. My car was broken into after eating there. More pressure from local restaurants might help increase patrolsMore infoMarcella's - Short NorthPrice: Moderate• Italian• Short North - Arena District•4.8
- PPhilColumbus •22 reviews5.0Dined on Dec 16, 2024Kudos to Forno for creating a fun seasonal pop-up speakeasy in the basement for the holidays. Decorations, including vintage video, set the mood for apres-ski R&R. Special themed drinks were great, especially the espresso martinis, and the six of us devoured the fondue. Would've been nice if they'd offered a couple more menu items like personal-size pizzas/flatbread from the kitchen upstairs, and maybe a little bigger assortment of dipping items for the cheese fondue than just orange cubed bell pepper, bread, and apple slices (maybe more fruit?), but the whole experience was enjoyable on our pop-up pub crawl.More infoForno Kitchen and BarPrice: Moderate• American• Short North - Arena District•4.7
