Great food and service! We’ll be back the next time we’re visiting KC

Excellent dinner with excellent service. Took friends who had never dined here as a Christmas gift and they were most impressed and loved the entire evening. Our server made our dinner even more enjoyable.

The food and service were both excellent. We were seated immediately even with the holiday crowd. The octopus potato salad was different and very tasty! Not something you normally see on menus so we had to give it a try. The pasta trio with salad and desert was a great value. The salad was huge and the pasta choices were excellent. My husband had eggplant Parmesan and it was vey good also. Lidia’s does not disappoint and was a perfect choice for a holiday dinner with friends!

My second lunch at Plate Italiano Moderno - Leawood. I was even more impressed this time. I ordered a pasta dish the first time and this visit the mushroom pizza was calling my name. It was delicious! To visit any restaurant during the holiday season I expect the noise level to be unbearable. I was pleasantly surprised that despite the number of large groups surrounding our two-top, we were able to converse fairly well.

We love North. Service was a bit slow but it was busy tonight. Love the short rib. The chefs board is a great starter.
