Best Italian Restaurants in Lincoln

We had a great first visit to Sogno. All the food we ordered was delicious (eggplant soup, wild boar gnocchi special, cacio e pepe pasta, creme brulee, and ricotta pie). My husband ordered a Sogno Sip (pineapple infused vodka), and I tried a mocktail with non alcoholic prosecco and rose syrup. We loved the atmosphere, and it was fun for a date night. Our server was very attentive and offered to take photos of us, which was nice and not expected. We will definitely be back!

We had a Valentine’s Day dinner, which was wonderful: attentive service from Ann, and all the food was delicious. One thing we really appreciated was not feeling rushed — sometimes you can go to a restaurant and the food is good but you are spending lots of money, and you’re finished in an hour! Not the case here. Definitely recommend Il Capriccio.

As usual, a great meal thoughtfully prepared. The Valentine’s Day menu included 3 shared appetizers, a choice of 3 entrees and a choice of 2 desserts. The food is always creative and interesting- not the standard boring fare at other places. Service was attentive even though they were very busy. Always at the top of our list.

First time at the Federal. We had a reservation for a table, but chose to sit at the bar. We dined during the lunch menu. Our bartenders Luke and AJ were attentive, professional, and polite. We started with the shellfish tower, which was good. We then ordered the Prime French dip sandwich and that was extraordinary, and the Kennebec Truffle fries with Parmesan and black truffle oil. The portion was just right and they were out of this world. I had their Sangria which is perfectly made. The owners’s own recipe. I’ve tried a lot of sangrias over the years but this ranks top two for me. We will definitely go back. Next time we will try the steak. I was just trying to make a reservation there for Easter but it looks like they are closed on Sundays, unfortunately.

 this is a very comfortable restaurant and it has excellent food. My husband and I went for an early Valentines dinner. We like to avoid the crowds on the 14th. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We made a reservation and were seated promptly . We shared the eggplant appetizer. I had the paparadelle with porcini and truffle mushrooms. My husband had the house special with scallops and shrimp with pasta and vodka sauce. Everything we ordered was outstanding.
