From the moment you step inside, Da Zero impresses with its thoughtfully designed interior. The ambiance is warm and inviting, thanks to the carefully chosen decor and soft, low lighting, creating a relaxing and intimate atmosphere. Our server was exceptionally friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and well taken care of throughout the evening. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive, and they were happy to offer recommendations. As for the food, we started with the calamari, which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. For my main course, I opted for the gnocchi, and I was not disappointed! The texture was delightfully soft, and the sauce was rich and flavorful.

Just left Orso on Brunswick St. Halifax for a valentines dinner with another couple. Service was top notch and we tipped accordingly. I had the Caesar salad and Calabrese pizza. I would give the salad a 7.5 and the pizza a 9/10. Others had pasta dishes. All very delicious and flavoufull, especially the pasta with mushrooms and gargonzola. The guacamole onion rings were just ok. Service was fast and not a detail to be missed. We were very impressed and will be back

From welcome at front entrance to goodnight and have a wonderful weekend, service was exceptional. Andrew’s food and wine menu knowledge, table presence and personality, exceptional. UPDATE JAN 2025: We got an email saying this restaurant had closed. Loved that we could get the dining room menu in the pub.
